Celebrated Anti Ragging Day and inauguration of Anti ragging week event. Grant Government Medical college and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai celebrated Anti Ragging Day and inauguration of Anti ragging week event on 12/08/25. The inaugural function of Anti Ragging Day was headed by Dean Dr Ajay Bhandarwar along with Vice Dean PG Dr Gajanan Chavan & UG Dr Chhaya Valvi, Medical Superintendent Dr Sanjay Surase and Head of the Departments, faculties, anti-ragging committee members. Undergraduate and Postgraduate students actively participated in the event. Anti-Ragging Oath was administered to all, followed by Street play and Poster presentation. Keynote address was given by the Dean. Student’s representatives expressed their views. Two selfie points were also kept.

JJ Hospital set sights on daily robotic surgeries Mumbai’s Sir JJ Hospital has announced plans to perform at least one robotic surgery every day, building on the success of its state-of-the-art robotic surgery department launched in April 2025. Having already completed over 67 procedures, the hospital is introducing a new patient booking system that fixes two appointments per day to avoid wasted slots and reduce costs.
